Hi I’m Heath, Chief Creative Officer of SHIFT Communications and its parent agency Padilla. I started life as an architect, builtAustralia’s first digital agency and still love what I do — bringing together ideas fueled by the power of insights and woven into the fabric of peoples’ lives. From branded content experiences to user-generated social campaigns or focused B2B campaigns, I help brands create immersive, engaging experiences that deliver real business results. From blockchain to blueberries, I revel in the unique qualities of every challenge.
I believe in The Business of Creativity, where the answer is no longer defined by the mediums and insightful thinking fuels innovation. Thanks to technology, the limit to what is possible is unshackled and a solution might take you anywhere — you just need to be ready for the ride. There can be no preconceived notions. It’s about viewing more things with new perspectives to unlock and activate fresh, transformative ideas.
With a long and varied career, I have served as Australian Executive Creative Director with Tribal DDB, Regional Executive Creative Director at Digitas and Chief Creative Officer at Campbell Mithun. Over that time, I’ve had the fortune to work with amazing teams who, together, built award-winning campaigns for clients around the globe including Olay, Crest, Gillette and Tide; Michelin, General Motors’ Buick and GMC brands; Bank of America; Goodyear; Land O’ Lakes, Betty Crocker, Cargill, Pillsbury and Progresso; Best Western; U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council and Norwegian Seafood Council; and Sanofi Pasteur, Mayo Clinic and Medtronic.
