Measure & Optimize for Offline Sales with AdWords Conversion Import
Chris: To me, this is such a HUGE deal because it gives retailers the ability to begin bridging the gulf between online and offline. An AdWords click ID is passed to the client and goes into a CRM. That can then be used to identify actual sales in non-clickstream processes (like a sales person dialing and smiling), and then uploaded back to AdWords to tell you what ads are working.

Dave: I have both of personal and professional interest in crowdfunding (one our clients is in the venture/equity side of things), as well as a severe love of all things Americana. That’s why I definitely took time out this week to learn about the struggles of trying to get a community to support a statue of Robocop in Detroit, funded through donation-based crowdfunding. It’s a very-fitting lesson, too, on not taking things seriously:
