It’s the start of a new year and here at SHIFT, we are kicking our resolutions into high gear. To celebrate the fresh start and ring in 2018, here’s a look into what we’re resolving to do this year:
“I plan to take a page out of Steve Covey’s book and put first things first. Start the day with the most important activity.” – Annie Perkins, Senior Vice President
“It may seem cliché but more self-care is on my list – things like taking walks, working away from my desk, treating myself to lunch now and again, etc.” – Cass Faro, Account Executive
“I plan to stop putting off ‘hard’ tasks or projects that oftentimes seem more intimidating than they really are.” – Ali Parisi, Account Executive
“Mine is to be more mindful – both at work and in my personal life. This includes being more mindful of client needs, what my team needs to truly succeed, what I need to live a healthier lifestyle, etc.” – Taylor Gallagher, Account Manager
“I resolve to get more – and better – sleep each night so I can be more well-rested and more productive.” Erin Keaveney, Senior Account Manager
And finally, my own resolution: to sweat the small stuff just a little bit less. 😊 In a world where there’s so much going on at all times, remembering to pause and be thankful for all that we do have and that is going well – instead of what maybe didn’t – and how we can improve and grow for the future.
