Pi Day Fun from SHIFT’s Creative Team

Every year on March 14th Pi Day is celebrated around the world. Pi (π) is an irrational number – used to represent the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter – most commonly approximated as 3.14. Pi has been calculated to over one trillion digits beyond its decimal point without repetition or pattern and its infinite nature has influenced people all over the world to memorize and celebrate Pi.

In honor of Pi Day 2017, the SHIFT creative team has created a graphical representation of the first 100 digits of Pi. Each colored circle represents a number 0 through 9 and their arrangement is ordered according to the numerical equivalent of Pi.

To celebrate, we have provided these free poster and mobile wallpaper downloads. Click the image below to open at full size!
