SHIFT: Thanksgiving Edition

We have a lot to be thankful for here at SHIFT, and we’re not afraid to show it! What better way to celebrate a SHIFT Thanksgiving than to round up thoughts from SHIFTers far and wide about what they’re most thankful for?

That is, after potlucks at all four offices, of course!

As the tryptophan set in, SHIFTers gave thanks. At the top of the list were thanks for the wonderful people we are lucky enough to work with every day

I’m thankful for a team full of intelligent, creative, fun colleagues who know wayyyyy more about each other than we should!
– Julie Staadecker, Account Director

I’m thankful to be part of such a tenacious & brilliant creative team.
– Pete Buhler, Creative Director

I am grateful for so much, but lately find myself especially appreciative of our senior staff team. When I see a great group of smart, nice, experienced and creative people aligned and rowing in the same direction (as it’s been feeling to me, lately), it makes our work a joy; it makes our future seem so bright!
– Todd Defren, CEO

I’m thankful for amazing coworkers who are smart, funny and also give me fashion advice.
– Katie Halloran, Senior Account Manager

I’m thankful for coworkers who I also consider friends!
– Katelyn Davis, Account Manager

To work with people who care about me not just as a worker bee but as a friend.
–Katie McGraw, Account Director

I am most thankful for our own Peter Bayuk! He keeps the San Francisco office running seamlessly with Fage yogurt, bananas, Pumpkin Spice coffee, Nutella, beer in the kegerator, tech support on our #smart TVs and everything else we need to #GSD for our clients. Don’t know what we’d do without him!
–Cathy Summers, Senior Vice President

We’re also thankful for the unbeatable office perks, awesome benefits, flexible policies, and the little things that give SHIFT’s offices personality

I am thankful to SHIFT for granting me a sabbatical this year to refresh and recharge.
–Cathy Allen, Executive Vice Preseident of East Coast Services

I’m thankful that SHIFT allowed me to use my cultural reimbursement to see AC/DC at Met Life Stadium.
–Justin Finnegan, Account Manager

I’m thankful that my travel allows me to eat in 4 AMAZING foodie cities!
–Amy Lyons, President

And hey, it’s great that we love coming to work:

The amazing support from top to bottom. No other agency encourages experimentation the way SHIFT does. It’s rare to find an agency with such a culture – and a positive one at that!
–Sara Long, Account Director

I’m thankful to come to a place every day where I am inspired to create…and to embrace my uniqueness (weirdness).
– Danielle Cole, Account Manager

What are you thankful for?
