Harvey Bars Launch Events

Objectives

Engage with consumers “where they are” – around the region at fun events

Reach influential bloggers in their markets to captivate their audiences

Activate programs through traditional and social media presence

Strategies

Worked with local pedicab drivers, dressed as retro Hood milkmen, in Boston, Portland, ME and Hartford, CT to distribute free Harvey Bars

Held local blogger events to spread the word about Harvey Bars to key demographic

Utilized Twitter and Hood’s new Instagram to drive event traffic

Results

Secured coverage in the online versions of all three locations’ biggest newspapers, as well as several blogs, television and radio stations

Total Impressions:

Boston- 7,464,409+ | Portland- 109,092+ | Hartford- 2,595,187+

Distributed approximately 20,000 Harvey Bars

For Boston in particular, most of the event attendance was driven by secured coverage on Boston.com, BostInno and WHDH 7 News!
