• SHIFT Communications – an award-winning independent PR agency in North America – today announced that Julie Crabill has been named vice president of the Consumer Lifestyle Practice in its San Francisco office.
  

• Crabill will continue to lead the Agency’s San Francisco-based consumer clients and to help grow the agency-wide Consumer Lifestyle Practice, which she started just three years ago. Her expertise has helped attract clients such as RealNetworks, Oakley, UGOBE, Powerset and Wordlock.
  

• As an account director at SHIFT, Crabill was responsible for the management of client strategy and messaging, leading the team in everything from big picture thinking to implementation of day-to-day PR activities. She has over nine years of experience in consumer public relations and high-tech public relations.
  

• Crabill also employed her networking skills and understanding of the Silicon Valley landscape to act as SHIFT’s manager of industry relations.

• Prior to SHIFT, Crabill worked at Edelman, managing both consumer technology and semiconductor accounts including mobile content, electronic design automation and storage semiconductors.

• Crabill received a bachelor’s degree in public relations from San Jose State University. While a student, she won PR Week's prestigious PR Student of the Year honor.
